What: ‘HARVEST MOON’ - Free Concert
Celebrate the HARVEST MOON with Lauren Margison, vocals, River Guard, vocals & guitar, and Stéphane Mayer, keyboard, for an afternoon concert of folk, musical theatre, and some opera. Presented by Highlands Opera Studio. Donations gratefully accepted either at the event or online through www.highlandsoperastudio.com

Based on Virgil’s ‘Aeneid’, Dido & Aeneas is the story of two ill-fated lovers who are sabotaged by an evil sorceress. Originally written for and performed in a London girl’s school circa 1689, this short, beautiful, and entertaining Baroque opera has it all. (Sung in English)
